About the Internship Program:
The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation supports creative people, effective institutions, and influential networks building a more just, verdant, and peaceful world.

MacArthur Fellows Program, the Foundation has an internship program that brings on dedicated undergraduates every year. The Communications Intern will research and write content for the Foundation’s website and social media channels; compile press lists and media clips; assist with planning Foundation events; and attend in-house briefings, presentations, and meetings on a range of issues (often with outside speakers) to learn more about the Foundation and key areas of grantmaking.

Eligibility:
– This internship is open to undergraduates who have completed freshman year (100 level).
– The intern should possess strong written and oral communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and an interest in professional communications and the work of the philanthropic sector.

Duration of Internship: A minimum 10-week commitment is required; 12-week internships are preferred. Earlier start dates are strongly preferred.
